REPERTOIRE AND PEDAGOGY CLASSES

Hands-On Learning

Repertoire and Pedagogy, or "Rep Class" as the studio calls it, is a class that meets every Wednesday from 4:00-4:50. During this class, members of the studio perform a piece of repertoire they are working on. They then receive verbal and written comments from Dr. Mehne and the rest of the studio. Typically, every studio member performs in Rep Class at least twice per semester.

In addition to playing each week, we also host different classes including flute pedagogy, music entrepreneurship, mock orchestral auditions, and music and the body!
