B.M. Music Education, Class of 2029

I'm a first year student majoring in Music Education. I'm from Long Valley, NJ and went to West Morris Central High School. In high school I was apart of the Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Symphony, Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Band, Pit Orchestra, Marching Band and Flute Choir. I participated in Marching Band for all 4 years. By senior year I became flute section leader and main soloist. I was the piccoloist for all 3 years in Wind Ensemble and revived the Flute Choir that hasn't existed for decades until now. Now at Ithaca College I'm in Concert Band and concentrating In flute studies. I aspire to be a band director and was inspired by my high school band director. Other hobbies besides music, I love to make pieces of artwork. The last 8 years I've worked with different mediums. My favorite mediums are charcoal and pastels.
