THE ITHACA COLLEGE FLUTE ASSOCIATION

The Ithaca College Flute Association (ICFA) is a recognized student organization at Ithaca College. This means that the organization can receive resources and funds provided by Ithaca College. 

 The purpose of the Ithaca College Flute Association is to create a community of flute members across campus, connect with Ithaca College flute alumni, further flute education of Ithaca College students regardless of major, and foster a collaborative flutist atmosphere. We also work to provide outreach concerts and programs to connect with the campus and community.

Since our start in the spring of 2018, we have held a number of events, trips, and fundraisers. Fundraisers have included raffles, silent auctions, restaurant fundraisers, and a paint-and-sip night in Ithaca's Wine and Design. These funds go towards trips, conferences, and guest artists for the organization - in August of 2018, we were able to attend the National Flute Association Convention in Orlando! ICFA also strives to be involved within the Ithaca flute community: in October 2018, we helped out at Ithaca Flute Day (held in Opus Ithaca Music School downtown).
